Hi Mark – I love your work and what you’ve created! I’m a singer-poet with roots in the literary world (1989 Wesleyan Univ. Press book “The Transparent Body,” lit mags from Antaeus to City Lights Review, NEA grant, etc.) as well as the jazz world, now performing tunes with a band integrating poetic “rap” and spoken word. I have 4 music CDs out with great national press and radio. My new CD THE POETRY OF GROOVE is just hitting radio and being added to many stations. I’d love to perform and/or be interviewed and/or have tracks played on your show! Here’s my new music video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=owXjQh9L68g
Are all your broadcasts live ones? Are you still on sabbatical? Looking/hearing forward, thanks, Lisa B (Lisa Bernstein)

Mark,
I caught your show for the first time tonight, 21 November 2009. I am not a big fan of poetry, but I really enjoyed your show. It was a showcase of your favourite recorded pieces. One of the pieces you played was called “The Word”, but I can not remember the poets name. I would love to know what it is so I can track it down.
